A Secret Wish CoverWho are Propaganda? Why have pages dedicated to them? These questions and more...

Propaganda pose the question why does it hurt when my heart misses the beat? a question still unanswered.

Propaganda were a German band that emerged in the 1980's. Signed to the ZZT label, but not as strongly promoted as the radical Frankie Goes To Hollywood they produced quirky but solid Euro disco with a bit of the dark industrial side you would expect from German industrial cities. Despite the promise of more, Propaganda are basically a one LP wonder. Secret Wish was a good LP that had a lot to recommend it. It retained a lot of the band's earlier gritty screamfest, smoothed of just enough to prevent it being discarded into the 'too weird' bin of time.
